Informativa sulla privacy
This policy explains how we handle personal data on the day2fabric.com website — primarily the information you send us when you request a demo. We try to collect as little as possible and to keep it in the EU.
1Who we are
The data controller for this website is [Legal entity / Ragione sociale], [ditta individuale / S.r.l.], [registered address], VAT/P.IVA [P.IVA]. For any privacy matter you can reach us at [email protected].
2What we collect
- Demo request form: your name, work email, company, role, the topics you select, and any message you write.
- Anti-spam: we use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. It is privacy-preserving and does not track you across sites.
- Basic technical data: standard request metadata handled by our hosting provider. We store the country derived from your connection, not your full IP address.
We do not use advertising trackers or profiling analytics, and we do not buy personal data about you.
3Why we use it (legal bases)
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Respond to and schedule your demo request | Your consent and/or steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(a)/(b)) |
| Prevent spam and abuse of the form | Our legitimate interest in protecting the site (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
4Cookies
We aim to use only essential, technical cookies needed to serve the site and run the anti-spam check. We do not set advertising or profiling cookies. [Confirm with counsel whether a cookie/consent banner is required for your final setup.]
5Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers (processors) to run the site. We do not sell your data.
| Provider | Role | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, DNS, lead database (D1), anti-spam (Turnstile) | EU data location |
| Resend | Delivers the email notification of your request to us | [EU/US — confirm region] |
[If any provider processes data outside the EU, describe the transfer safeguard — e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses — here.]
6Where it is stored and for how long
Demo-request data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database hosted in the EU. We keep it only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then delete it — [set a retention period, e.g. 12 months after last contact]. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see your rights below).
7Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy (portability), and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
8Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls on the lead database. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to keep risk low.
9Children
This site is aimed at network and IT professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, let you know.
